National Sports Awards 2025
The National Sports Awards are the Government of India’s premier honours for recognising excellence in sports, coaching and promotion of sporting activities. They cover major categories such as the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award, Dronacharya Award, Arjuna Award (Lifetime) and Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar. The awards seek to encourage sporting excellence, recognise the contribution of coaches and promote a strong sporting culture in India.
