Key Features
- Convergence of Schemes: Integrates 36 existing Central schemes across 11 Ministries, along with relevant State schemes and local private-sector partnerships.

- Additional Districts: States may identify additional districts using the same selection framework through existing administrative mechanisms and available scheme resources.
- Agricultural Productivity: Aims to improve crop yields through better farming practices, appropriate technologies and access to agricultural inputs.
- Crop Diversification: Promotes diversified cropping patterns and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Irrigation Facilities: Focuses on improving irrigation infrastructure and promoting efficient water management.
- Post-Harvest Infrastructure: Seeks to strengthen storage facilities at the Panchayat and block levels, reduce post-harvest losses and promote value addition.
- Agricultural Credit: Improves access to short-term and long-term agricultural credit.
- Agriculture and Allied Sectors: Promotes activities such as dairy, livestock and fisheries to diversify farmers’ income.
- District-Level Planning: The District Dhan-Dhaanya Samiti, headed by the District Collector/District Magistrate, prepares the District Agriculture and Allied Activities Plan according to local needs.
