About the Scheme

• It is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. 
• It aims at providing drones to the Women Self Help Groups under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).

• The Namo Drone Didi initiative aims to promote the utilization of drones in agriculture for the precise spraying of fertilizers and pesticides.
