About Ayushman Bhav

• President of India Droupadi Murmu recently launched the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ campaign as well as the Ayushman Bhava Portal. 
• The national healthcare initiative aims to ensure extensive coverage of healthcare programmes, reaching every village and town in the country.
• The campaign aims to achieve the ambitious goal of delivering healthcare services to the last mile of India, which will play a critical role in successful accomplishment of this endeavour. 
• Additionally an online organ donation pledge registry was initiated to register the pledges of willing citizens all over the country.

Why in News?

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded the success of organ donation drive as over 80,000 People have taken the pledge to donate their organs, under the Ayushman Bhav campaign.
