What’s in the news?

• The Ministry of Rural Development organized over 100 rallies under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign to spread awareness about under-nutrition across the country. 
• More than 5,000 trainees from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana and Rural Self Employment Training Institutes took part in these rallies as part of Iconic Week celebrations.
• Various stakeholders rallied to reinforce the importance of nutrition amongst rural women. Women candidates marched and cycled across villages holding informative placards and posters as part of the rallies.
